The one that matters. Taxido produces estimates. It is not a tax return, not tax advice, and not a substitute for an accountant. You remain responsible for what you file and what you pay.
What the app does
Taxido estimates United States federal self-employment tax and income tax for a single Schedule C business, plus state tax where the state has no income tax or a single rate. It shows what share of your profit to set aside and what each quarterly payment would be.
What the app does not do
- It does not file anything with the IRS or any state.
- It does not give tax, legal, or financial advice.
- It does not connect to your bank and cannot see your transactions.
- It does not model itemized deductions, credits, retirement contributions, depreciation, the home office deduction, multi-state apportionment, prior-year safe harbor, or graduated state brackets.
Where a calculation runs past what the app models, it says so on screen and lowers its stated confidence. Read those notes — they are there because they change the answer.
Accuracy
Tax constants come from published IRS and state sources, cited inside the app, and are updated each January. We check them carefully. We do not warrant that they are correct, current, or applicable to your situation, and tax law can change after a version ships.
Verify anything that matters before you act on it. If a figure from Taxido would change what you pay or file, confirm it with a qualified tax professional.
Subscription
- Trial
- 21 days, full access, no payment details required.
- Price
- $39 per year for Taxido, or $69 per year for Taxido Plus, which adds the sourced guidance. One purchase covers iOS, Android and web. The trial includes Plus.
- Renewal
- Renews annually unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or through the payment processor for web purchases.
- Refunds
- Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are refunded under Apple's and Google's policies, and we cannot process those refunds ourselves. For web purchases, write to us within 30 days and we will refund you.
- If you stop paying
- Your entries are not deleted. They stay on your device, and unlocking again brings the figures straight back.
Your data
Everything you enter stays on your device. We never receive it. See the privacy policy for the detail. Keeping your own backups is your responsibility — since we hold no copy, we cannot restore data lost with a lost or wiped device.
Acceptable use
Use Taxido for your own tax planning. Do not decompile it, resell it, or present its output as professional tax advice to someone else.
Liability
Taxido is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for tax underpayments, penalties, interest, missed deadlines, or any other loss arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted here with a new date, and continuing to use the app after that means you accept them.
